A Ramesh Kumar
Mr. A. Ramesh Kumar is a career banker with more than three decades of experience in India and internationally with State Bank of India. An ex-Chief General Manager of SBI, he was the head of all International offices and subsidiaries of the Bank. He was previously CGM of State Bank India’s Maharashtra Circle.
He has been associated with several prestigious bodies viz. Member, Academic Council and Visiting Faculty, NMIMS, Mumbai; Chairman, NABARD National Committee on Rural Habitat; Member, Advisory Committee, Development Alternatives, New Delhi.
Nominee Director – Omidyar Network
Anuradha brings extensive experience in early-stage venture capital to her role at Omidyar Network. Anuradha leads investments in financial inclusion that bring critical services to millions of financially underserved Indians.
Prior to joining Omidyar Network in early 2012, Anuradha spent seven years at VentureEast, an early-stage venture capital fund. While there, she made many successful investments across sectors spanning clean tech, enterprise software, IT services, financial inclusion, supply chain, and group buying. Previously she was an investment banker at Lazard India where she focused on the life sciences and consumer products sector. Anuradha also served in various M&A, business development, and corporate strategy roles at UTV Interactive and Cadila Pharmaceuticals. She began her career as a principal correspondent on the corporate reporting and equity analysis team for one of India’s leading business dailies, The Financial Express.
Anuradha received an MBA in finance and a BS in physics from Madurai Kamaraj University.
Nominee Director – Aavishkaar Goodwell
Sushma brings with her over 14 years of diverse experience in the field of early stage investing, small business incubation and financial inclusion. At Aavishkaar, Sushma has worked to identify, manage and exit large number of companies and has worked closely with several inclusive business entrepreneurs. She has extensively evaluated transactions covering debt and equity structures. While at Ashoka-Innovators for the Public, Sushma got to work with social entrepreneurs in the ‘Housing for All’ initiative. She has worked closely on building collaborative partnerships in market-based solutions for the low-income populations. Sushma has completed a strategic leadership program at the prestigious Harvard Business School, she is an engineering graduate from RVCE, Bangalore and has an MBA from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.
Nominee Director – Zephyr Peacock
Prior to joining Zephyr, Abhijeet was Strategic Marketing Manager for Honeywell Fluorine products. He was responsible for product management and sales of Honeywell’s Fluorine products in India and other emerging markets. Prior to Honeywell, Abhijeet was a consultant at Mckinsey & Co. He has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from University of Mumbai and a MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
